The Srinagar–Leh–Manali–Delhi Ladakh Bike Trip 2026 is one of the most iconic motorcycle adventures in India, offering an extraordinary journey through the breathtaking landscapes of the Himalayas. The expedition begins in Srinagar, where riders are welcomed by serene lakes, Mughal gardens, and the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir. From here, the adventure unfolds along one of the most scenic highways in the world.
The route passes through the lush valleys of Sonamarg and crosses the dramatic Zoji La before reaching Drass, known as one of the coldest inhabited places on Earth. Riders continue to Kargil and eventually arrive in Leh, the vibrant heart of Ladakh.
The journey includes unforgettable excursions to Nubra Valley, where double-humped camels roam the sand dunes, and the mesmerizing Pangong Lake, famous for its ever-changing shades of blue. Along the way, riders conquer legendary high-altitude passes such as Khardung La and Chang La.
The return journey via Sarchu and Manali offers thrilling roads, river crossings, and panoramic mountain vistas before concluding in Delhi. Combining adventure, culture, and unmatched natural beauty, this expedition is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for every motorcycle enthusiast.
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar ( 5,200 ft )
● Arrive at Srinagar Airport.
● Evening briefing by the tour captain about the ride and itinerary.
● Dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 2: Journey from Srinagar to Kargil (8,780 ft | 220 KM || 6-7 hr)
● After breakfast, depart for Kargil, the site of the 1999 Kargil War.
● Travel through the thrilling Zojila Pass and Drass, the world's second coldest inhabited place.
● Visit the Kargil War Memorial and immerse yourself in the patriotic atmosphere.
● Enjoy views at Tiger Hills and other famous peaks. Arrive in Kargil by evening, check in to the hotel, and hand over your bike keys to the road captain.
● Relax for the day and spend quality time with your friends.
● Enjoy dinner, and overnight stay in Kargil.
Day 3: Journey from Kargil to Leh (11,600 ft | 240 KM | 6-7 hr)
● As morning dawns, enjoy breakfast before heading towards Leh.
● Visit Dha-Hanu village, home to the last race of IndoAryans, and marvel at the locals adorned with jewellery and flowers.
● Witness the beautiful confluence of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers and Hall of Fame.
● Experience the intriguing phenomenon of Magnetic Hills. Make a divine visit to Gurudwara Pather Sahib.
● Upon reaching Leh, deposit your bike keys with the road captain. Relax for the day.
● Dinner and overnight stay in Leh included.
Day 4: Journey from Leh to Nubra Valley (10,000 ft | 160 KM | 5-6 hr)
● Wake up to a refreshing morning and enjoy breakfast.
● Set out for an exhilarating bike ride through the Nubra Valley, a cold desert with stunning landscapes and mountain ranges.
● Experience the thrill of crossing Khardung La, one of the world's highest motorable passes.
● Stop to admire the beautiful Buddha Statue and Diskit Monastery along the way.
● Upon reaching Nubra, enjoy a camel ride in the sand dunes (additional cost). Deposit your bike keys with the road captain.
● Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Nubra (Hunder).
Day 5: Journey from Nubra Valley to Turtuk Village to Nubra Valley (9,850 ft | 196 KM | 8-9 hr)
● After the sun rises, enjoy breakfast and pack your bags for departure.
● Head towards Turtuk village, formerly under Pakistan before 1971, located in the Nubra tehsil along the banks of the Shyok River.
● Experience the stunning beauty of the valley, with breathtaking views of the K2 Mountain range (in Pakistan).
● Explore Turtuk and immerse yourself in its unique charm.
● Travel back towards Nubra.
● Deposit your bike keys with the road captain.
● Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 6: Journey from Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso (14,000 ft | 160 KM |7-8 hr )
● After breakfast, prepare for another day of daring offroading through untamed mountain paths.
● The route leads to the stunning Pangong Tso (lake) via the Shyok River or Wari La Pass. Experience the thrilling challenge of this route, typically used by the army.
● Upon arrival, marvel at the enchanting blue waters of Pangong Tso. (If Pangong Tso is closed, we will ride back to Leh and do a day excursion to Pangong Tso the next day in an SUV or tempo traveler.)
● Enjoy the picturesque lake and magnificent views surrounding you.
● Deposit your bike keys with the road captain.
● Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Pangong Tso included.
Day 7: Journey from Pangong Tso to Leh via Chang La ( 11,600 ft | 160 KM |5-6 hr)
● In the morning, enjoy breakfast and prepare for an exhilarating ride back to Leh via Chang La Pass, one of the world's highest mountain passes.
● En route, stop at the famous Druk White Lotus School, featured in the blockbuster Bollywood movie 3 Idiots.
● If time permits, visit Shey and Thiksey Monastery.
● Upon arrival in Leh, deposit your bike keys with the road captain.
● Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Leh.
Day 8: Journey from Leh to Sarchu (14,100 ft | 250 KM | 6-7 hr)
● After breakfast, depart for Sarchu.
● Cross high passes including Nakee La, Lachung La, and Tanglang La.
● Bid farewell to the stunning beauty of Ladakh as you travel along the winding roads into Himachal Pradesh.
● Arrive in Sarchu, deposit your bike keys with the road captain, and settle in for the night.
● Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Swiss Camps in Sarchu.
Day 9: Journey from Sarchu to Manali (6,700 ft | 200 KM | 5-6 hr)
● After breakfast, we start our day early and depart for Manali.
● The route is slightly rough, so we'll aim to cover maximum distance with minimal stopovers.
● Enjoy the scenic beauty of Manali along the way.
● Upon arrival in Manali, celebrate the completion of our epic road journey.
● Deposit your bike keys with the road captain.
● Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Manali included.
Day 10: Journey from Manali to Delhi Departure (540 KM | 14-15 hr)
● After breakfast, check out of the hotel by 10 AM.
● Explore nearby cafes with fellow travelers, reminiscing about the beautiful journey that was once a dream.
● Celebrate the trip as not just an achievement but a cherished chronicle.
● Depart for Delhi in the evening via an overnight Volvo bus.
● Carry home memories worth a lifetime and friendships to treasure forever!

Day 11: Arrival in Delhi

● Buffet breakfast available from Day 2 to Day 10 and buffet dinner available from Day 1 to Day 9.

● Bike permits and Inner Line permits for all travelers arranged.
● All permits for the highest motorable passes in the world: Khardung La and Chang La. Fuel provided as per the route mentioned in the itinerary. Services of an experienced road captain and motorbike mechanic from Day 2 morning to Day 9 evening.

● Facility to carry luggage in a separate vehicle, restricted to one rucksack or duffle bag of up to 60 liters per traveler (additional luggage charges apply).

● Personal expenses such astelephone, laundry, tips, and drinks.
● Any type of insurance, including medical, accidental, and theft.
● Airfare or rail fare not mentioned in the "Inclusions."
● Pickup or drop-off services at the airport, railway station, or bus stop.
● Cost of any spare parts required due to accidental damage while the motorbike is in the rider's possession.
● Costs incurred for transferring/towing the motorbike or servicing due to accidental damage.
● Any meals not specified in the package inclusions, including lunch.
● A security deposit of Rs. 10,000 per motorbike for accidental damages or if the bike is left along the route before the trip's end. Parking, monastery, and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
● Costs incurred due to extensions or changes in the itinerary due to natural calamities, roadblocks, vehicle breakdowns, union issues, or factors beyond our control.
● Additional accommodation or food costs incurred due to any delays.

Travel Documents & Hotel Policies
● Customers must carry the issued confirmation letter during the trip. It contains important details such as confirmed hotel, cab information, and service contact numbers.
● Hotels have their own rules and regulations, which guests must follow.
Check-in Rules
● The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to check in.
● Check-in: 12:00 PM
● Check-out: 12:00 PM
● Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Identification Requirements
● Guests must present a valid photo ID at the time of check-in.
● As per government regulations, every guest above 18 years must carry valid identification.
● Accepted IDs: Driving License, Voter ID, Passport.
● PAN Card is NOT accepted as a valid ID.
● Guests without valid ID will not be allowed to check in.
Admission Rights
● Hotels reserve the right of admission.
● Accommodation may be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable identification is not presented at check-in.
● C T & Travels will not be responsible for any check-in denial due to the above reasons.
Additional Charges & No-Show
● Hotels may charge mandatory meal surcharges during festive periods (e.g., Christmas, New Year’s Eve).
● All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) must be paid directly at the hotel.
● Taxes are paid by C T & Travels to vendors. Service fees are retained for servicing the travel reservation.
● In case of no-show, the entire booking amount will be deducted.
Advance Payment
● 50% of the total package cost must be deposited in the company’s account to confirm the package. Hotels will be issued after receiving the 50% payment.
● We may accept 25% of the total package cost as a token amount if the desired package is confirmed at least 15 days prior to the travel date.
Token Amount Terms
● The 25% token amount is non-refundable.
● The remaining 25% must be cleared at least 7 days before the travel date.
● Failure to clear the balance will result in cancellation of the tour.
Balance Payment
● The remaining payment must be completed on arrival, on the very first day.
At Nomadic India, we understand that travel plans can change. Our policies are designed to be fair, transparent, and traveller-friendly.
1) Cancellation by the Traveller
A. Before the Trip Starts
● 30 days or more before departure:
● 100% refund (after deducting payment gateway charges, if any).
● 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund of the total package cost.
● 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund of the total package cost.
● Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.
● No-show on departure day: No refund.
B. Special / Promotional Deals
● Discounted or promotional bookings may be non-refundable, as clearly mentioned at the time of booking.
2) Cancellation by Nomadic India
If a trip is cancelled due to weather, operational issues, road blockages, government restrictions, or minimum group size not met, travellers may choose:
● 100% refund, or
● Free date change, or
● Credit note valid for 12 months.
3) Date Change / Rescheduling
● 15 days prior to departure: Free date change (subject to availability).
● Within 15 days: ₹1,500 per person rescheduling fee + difference in trip cost (if any).
● Date change is not allowed for non-refundable or promotional bookings.
4) Refund Timelines
● Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days from approval.
● Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
5) Conditions & Notes
● Nomadic India is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to natural calamities, landslides, strikes, curfews, or circumstances beyond our control.
● Certain services (flights, hotels, permits, activities) may have supplier-specific cancellation charges.
● GST and payment gateway charges are non-refundable.
● Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official WhatsApp.
Postpone / Prepone Policy
● Any request to postpone or prepone a tour must be submitted in writing at least 15 days prior to the tour date.
● Minimum charge: ₹3,000 for bookings up to ₹35,000.
● 10% charge applicable for bookings above ₹35,000.
