Escape the city chaos and dive straight into the misty charm of Himachal! This 3N/4D Shimla – Narkanda trip is all about mountain breezes, scenic drives, and quick yet unforgettable Himalayan vibes.
Your journey begins with a smooth drive from Delhi to Shimla, where pine forests, colonial architecture, and the buzz of Mall Road greet you. Stroll along the Ridge, enjoy local cafés, and let the clouds dance around the hills while you sip your coffee.
(FUN FACT-Shimla was the summer capital of British India)
Next, we head to Narkanda, a serene high-altitude retreat surrounded by endless apple orchards — perfect for a stroll, some photography, or just soaking in the crisp mountain air. The area is dotted with sparkling mountain lakes, reflecting the peaks around them like nature’s own mirror. Don’t miss a visit to Hatu Temple, perched atop a hill — legend says it’s dedicated to an Maa Hatu ( Mandodari-wife of Ravan) and was made by Pandavas during their Agyaat Vaas period and that your wishes echo into the mountains if you climb its steps with a pure heart.
(FUN FACT-Hatu Temple is an ancient shrine; legend says wishes climb the hill with you!)
We also make a stop at Tani Jubber lake, where local culture, food, and Himalayan charm come alive. This trip is the perfect Himalayan sampler — a blend of scenic drives, tranquil orchards, sparkling lakes, cultural gems, and cozy stays. By the time you head back to Delhi, the mountains leave you refreshed, inspired, and craving your next Nomadic India escape.
