Bir and Barot 3 Nights 4 Days Trip

access_time 3N/4D terrain Easy flight_takeoff Delhi to Delhi

Bir and Barot is that perfect blend of adventure, culture, and nature wrapped into a short weekend escape from Delhi. The journey begins with a drive from Delhi into the Himalayas, winding through scenic roads until you reach Bir, a peaceful village nestled at 1500M, famous for its Tibetan culture, tea gardens, pine forests, and of course, paragliding. The first day is all about soaring through the skies — tandem paragliding from Billing (2400M) to Bir (1500M) gives you 20–30 minutes of pure adrenaline, with breath-taking views of the Dhauladhar ranges stretching across the horizon. The rush of the glide, the cool mountain air, and the Himalayan panorama make this an unforgettable start to your trip.

After landing, the second half of the day is for exploring Bir village — strolls through cozy cafés, wander the Tibetan markets, soak in the serene monasteries, or simply walk through tea gardens and pine trails. For those who love a little adventure off the beaten path, Nomadic India also guides you to hidden corners of the village where the quiet vibes and scenic spots make you forget the world outside.

(Tip: Wear comfortable shoes for short hikes and waterfalls, carry a light jacket even in summer evenings, and don’t forget your camera — every corner here is picture-perfect.)

On the next day, the journey continues from Bir to Barot, a lesser-known gem tucked in the lap of the mountains. Upon arrival, you visit Lapase Waterfall, a serene cascade surrounded by pine forests — a perfect spot to pause, click photos, and feel the calm of the Himalayas. The second half of the day is about relaxing and enjoying the charm of Barot. Café hopping, walking by the river, or visiting the Chokling Monastery (optional) lets you experience the local culture and peaceful mountain life before the drive back to Delhi.

(Fun Fact: Barot was originally a hunting ground for the royal family of Mandi and is now a hidden paradise for nature lovers.)

With Nomadic India, the trip is smooth, personal, and hassle-free — from certified paragliding instructors in Bir to guided exploration in Barot, we make sure your weekend is packed with experiences but never rushed. You don’t just visit places; you live them, breathe them, and take home memories that last a lifetime.
